This is a picture I took of myself a while back that I liked a lot and think you’ll like too. It’s a tattoo I took for myself, a tattoo that makes me feel comfortable.
A tattoo that makes you feel comfortable is something I have had a lot of experience with, which is why I was so surprised by this one. The most often-repeated phrase in tattoos is “I love you”, and for many people this is a mantra. If you’re anything like me, you tend to make a big deal of these words so it’s hard to remember them.
In fact, the most memorable tattoo I ever got was from a friend who had one in her back which said I love you in a different way. That was a tattoo I had on my forearm that said I loved you.
Here’s the thing: It sounds like you’re saying “I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you”. But it’s actually just “I love you”. It’s kind of weird, but its very common to find quotes like that on tattoos. But its the same thing with that quote on your tattoo. It’s just a word that means exactly what it says.
I know the tattoo has a very specific meaning, but I feel like that kind of thing is a bit of an oxymoron. You know, that kind of random “I love you” feeling that you get when you are actually really happy for someone. I feel like the tattoo is a bit of a misnomer.
It’s a bit like the quote on the sign for Salmon River, which I love, but is not exactly the same thing. The tattoo is a visual representation of a feeling, but it is not necessarily a feeling itself. There are times, probably very few times, when I feel really happy for someone and feel the same way I feel when I’m really happy for them. I feel like that is the kind of feeling tattoo artists can have.
