The reality is that the cost of a new office building is going to be more like $500,000 or $1 million. The biggest cost is labor, including the labor required to maintain the building, as well as the cost to operate the building, i.e., the maintenance.

It doesnt mean its cheaper though and because the average cost of painting a new house is over $5000, it would take a while for it to be cheaper.
That’s true, but that’s not necessarily the whole story. In the case of a new construction home, a lot of the expenses are going to be incurred in the actual painting. So that makes the decision easier if you can paint it yourself.
I would recommend looking at paints in general, instead of the specific brand. A lot of them come with a list of their properties and you can see the color that best matches what you want. You can also look at other people’s paint work and see what they did and if you can do it to the same end, that can be an indication that a particular paint will do exactly what you need for your house. I would also recommend looking at the price of the paint you choose.
